Short Film - Renaissance 

This short film touches upon the pressing crisis in both the State of Travancore and the State of Cochin. John Munro was known to have respected the ancient heritage of our land. He was able to work with the British authorities and the Rulers of the two States  and successfully  introduce several progressive reforms.

Historial records do not support one of the statements in the script. 'Adima Kedathal', in front of Lord Padmanabha Swamy, must have been an extremely private and solemn ritual.

As a movie based on historical records, it  conveys the essence of the time.
